Frequently Asked Questions

How is this any different than normal sanitation services?

Electrostatic application requires highly specialized equipment to apply and enables the product to remain airborne for longer during the application process, and “wrap around,” or evenly adhere to all sides of treated items, even where not directly applied. The product can be applied throughout living and working spaces including outdoor settings as well. Toys, playgrounds, and common appliances are all okay to treat.

What sort of preparation will my intended area of germ mitigation require?

Thorough and conventional cleaning is required up front to any surfaces or materials that you want sanitized. Visible soil, debris, and any other infectious materials such as bodily fluids or other contaminants may hinder the germ mitigation process. The Germitigator treatment is not a substitute for these standard cleaning procedures and should only be completed after these requirements have been completed.

What if my clients come into contact with this chemical? Is it harmful?

Practically any non-porous surface that humans contact can be safely treated, including countertops, food preparation surfaces, utensils,

kitchens, bathrooms, toys, playrooms, doorknobs, handrails- the list goes on and on. See attached EPA label.
